Recording & Producing Fees

We basically charge according to the amount of work involved.

Stereo Recording

Fine for archival work. A pair of world-class microphones channeled into a 24 bit recorder, then burned to a CD or high-resolution DVD. A pair of microphones will basically create a high quality record of your performance and reveal what a listener fifteen feet away would really hear. Practical for any kind of performance.

$300

Quad Recording

Four matched microphones are positioned according to your orchestra or ensemble. This gives a great deal of flexibility at mixdown, and allows a wide variety of post production techniques to improve the sound of the recording. Excellent for presentation copies, grant proposals, and compensating for a less than ideal acoustic. Excellent for chorus as well.

$450

Full Setup

Multiple Main and Spot microphones are positioned to capture every detail of the performance. Ideal for larger ensembles, chamber orchestras and full orchestras, or where the highest quality is required.

$650

Large Orchestra Setup

Up to thirty-six (more than enough) microphones are used. For large orchestras and/or choruses where the absolute highest quality is required
